Breach of Fate is composed of 5 gifted musicians that has been part of the music scenario in Western Visayas, They were in different bands and genres and were good friends, until 2011 came, although some of the members went out of the country and some quitted playing, something extraordinary or shall we rather say weird and magical happened. Rocky (drummer) and Rj (guitar 1), bump into each other somewhere in Iloilo City and just decided to have a drink n a bar with live music, when they arrived at the venue, Tata (guitar 2/leader) and his band are he ones playing for that night, Rocky and Tata were in the same show band before and also Rj so its kinda like a reunion of old musician friends. In the crowd, Tata’s brother Bobet (vocals) was also there chillin and watching he’s brother play, which is Rj’s band mate also before. Bobet joined the guys while they watch Tata play. Then suddenly, Jojo (bassist) sent an sms to Rj asking him if where hes at coz Jojo is also thirsty for a nice cold beer, He joined the guys at that bar and the group declared that it was a big reunion of friends, until Tata ask them all to jam a song, without hesitations, these guys went up the stage to join Tata for a song. Because all of them grew up with rock music as their influences, they played a rock song, the song was “Cemetary Gates by: Pantera. Right there and then, all of them felt the same feeling and the same thinking, they felt that for them, that line up was their dream band and the best band they have ever had. Their feelings towards rock were just so perfect, dynamics were superb, quality of sound and add-ons were just exact. These guys didn’t even practice that song, coincidence? I think not, what just happened to them was “fate”.
Each of us has a fate, like for example if all your family from grandparents to parents and uncles and cousins are all doctors, your fate is to become a doctor, right? But for these guys, a “Breach of Fate” happened, they have their own careers, hobbies and some have their own bands, but they decided to follow another path in life, that was the day “Breach of Fate” was born, and they are ready to rock western visayas and bring their music to a different level, National…
